Resin & Nordic Pine Bowl.

This bowl was a bit of an unusual one and was one of my 12 days of Christmas 2020 projects. For this project I took my old Christmas tree and dried out the trunk, I then cut it into discs and wedges and encased them in resin, I then created the final shape of the bowl.

This wood was difficult to work with as it is a very soft wood and the tools did cause some marks throughout. The resin held up well and it ended up being a stylish bowl. I made this bowl before I had a bowl sander, I feel that if I would have had the bowl sander before this project then it would have come out alot smoother.
