Large Sequoia Wood Bowl

This bowl has a really nice colourway to it, it is a natural colour with no dyes being used. It has a really nice pale red body with a small bit of natural wood to the edge.

This bowl was not the easiest to turn due to the size of my lathe and the forces being generated by the large disc of wood turning, I did eventually get the bowl into a position where it could be turned easily and prevent huge amounts of chipping.

This is another bowl that I made before I had the bowl sander, this means that I would have had a slightly nicer finish to the bowl but it is still a nice functionable piece.
