Blue Resin & Coloured Pencil Dish

This dish was a really fun project, even it didn’t quite go to plan. I’ve been experiencing some issues with my latest batch of either resin or coloured pencils where there is a large gap between the end of the resin and the top of the pencils.

I’m not sure what causing it but once this was turned I had to do a little top up layer on the blue to fill in the gaps.

I always love how coloured pencils look in resin, they have a really nice finish and the stages of colour between the graphite, the wood and the resin just make for a really nice final product.
